Australia Has A New Cashback Site
There's a new player in Australia's cashback scene. Meet Cashback Australia.

Who Is Cashback Australia?
Cashback Australia, well, I guess it's all in the name, right? Much like the other players such as Cashrewards & Shopback, they're a shopping portal in which to earn cashback on online purchases from Aussie & some international retailers.
As the name might also suggest, this does appear to be an Australian organisation, unlike Singapore based ShopBack and UK founded TopCashback.
Do We Need Another Cashback Site?
In short, yes! Competition is always a good thing. The more cashback sites operating in the Aussie market, the more competitive offers are likely be. Always a win for the consumer 🥳
How Do They Compare To Other Sites?
Given they are brand-spanking-new, only time will tell if Cashback Australia will ultimately be a strong contender for your online shopping dollars. However, we've taken a look at how their current offers compare with the other Australian cashback sites.
Here are some of the standout offers we've found. Offers accurate at the time of writing (July 2025) and may not reflect the current rewardsShopify
While the exact amount can vary depending on the spend category, the maximum cashback is more than double other offers.

Again, Cashback Australia's offer is "up to", but the maximum cashback is still a standout above the rest. If there's any ambiguity around whether or not you'll get the maximum, the TopCashback offer might be more reliable.

Our take on Cashback Australia's offers
While there are some standouts, most of them are for niche stores or have conditions, such as spend category, in order to receive that maximum cashback rate. Always compare with other cashback sites to ensure the cashback you're getting for your specific order is the best it can be.
Cashback Australia also partners with some unique stores that don't appear on other shopping portals (at the time of writing) such as Vic's Premium Quality Meats, Manchester Factory & The Boostville.
Sign Up Bonus
One good thing about a new cashback site is that they'll usually be offering an incentive for new users to join the platform. Cashback Australia are offering a respectable boost for new sign-ups, here's how their sign-up offer compares to the other platforms.
As always, check the terms & minimum spend requirements. If you do sign-up to any cashback site using our links above, we may receive a small cashback of our own. These help support us & maintiain our little site, so thank you in advance if you do 🙏
Some Things To Note About Cashback Australia
We have noticed some oddities around the spend categories for particular stores, this doesn't affect flat rate cashback's like OzTrail:

Simple to understand, right? All eligible sales should return a 2.4% cashback.
Now take a store with an "up to" offer, such as Bing Lee:

Here the amount that you would expect to earn is ambiguous, each category appears to be named in a way that isn't clear.
While this doesn't affect all supported stores, it appears to be the case across many with a dynamic cashback rate. We suspect that this is just a teething issue and hope to see it resolved in time.
